THE CRUELTY OF THE SHIA SAFAWID DAWLA

Daulah Safawiyah was founded with the ideology of Shia Itsna 'Asyari (Shia 12 Imams). The country that was founded in Iran in 907 H / 1502 AD is said to be the country with the worst treatment of Sunni Muslims. They have a deep impression on the history of Iran in particular, and the history of the Islamic world in general.

Ismail Shah ash-Shafawi is a fanatic Shia. He killed nearly one million Sunni Muslims. He tortured Sunni scholars by burning them alive. His policy was very repressive, he obliged all citizens to embrace the teachings of Shia Itsna 'Ash’ari. The fanatic of his tribe used him as a weapon to force people to change their beliefs.

Not only did he force people in his territory to embrace Shia, Ismail also spread this heretical ideology beyond his territory. This policy made Daulah Shafawi have to deal with other major kingdoms, namely the Sunni Ottoman Turks. In fact, at that time, the Ottoman Turks were considered the leaders of the world's Sunni societies. After another Sunni kingdom, the Mamluk Kingdom, weakened.

Tensions with the Ottoman Turks led Ismail to enter into military cooperation with the Portuguese crusaders. They also both fight against Muslims. At that time Portugal had the ambition to dominate Islamic areas. They plan to expand the city of Medina and dig up the tomb of Prophet Muhammad .

Ismail's agreement with Portugal is certainly a historical disgrace in itself for the Shia Shafawi kingdom and Ismail itself. And that is the history of the Shi'ah. Full of treason, betrayal and conspiracy.

What was done by Ismail as-Shafawi was what triggered the war between the Uthmani Daulah and the Shafawi Daulah. Until finally at the battle of 2 Rajab 920 H to coincide with August 22, 1514 AD, the Ottoman Turks won the war. Shafawi's capital, Tabriz, fell to the Ottomans.
